Piston, since it is a modified and upgraded brake caliper, naturally choosing a multi piston brake caliper with dual piston, four piston, and six piston brakes means what? The piston referred to here refers to the piston on the piston disc brake caliper. It is a device that is pushed out by oil pressure to force the brake pads into close contact with the brake disc, named after its shape resembling a piston. Double pistons means having two pistons, four pistons means four, six pistons means six, which means three on each side, just like pushing something with six fingers with both hands.

When the vehicle is running at full speed, the friction loss of the engine is mostly caused by the piston connecting rod components (piston, piston pin and connecting rod). After its mass is reduced, the fuel utilization rate is greatly improved, and the Engine displacement is correspondingly reduced. After using titanium material to manufacture this component, compared to previous aluminum alloy components, the driving temperature of the engine has increased and the temperature used has been higher. The connecting rod should have high strength, fatigue resistance, rigidity, and wear resistance, so titanium alloy and composite materials become suitable materials for manufacturing connecting rods, achieving lightweight of pistons and piston pins, greatly reducing noise and vibration, and improving various performance of the engine. Due to the high requirements for strength, wear resistance, rigidity, and heat resistance of piston pins, titanium alloys containing a large amount of titanium aluminum compounds should be selected. The speed of the engine is increasing day by day, and it is best to prepare valves, gears, etc. using titanium alloy because titanium alloy has excellent creep resistance and oxidation resistance. Composite titanium and AITi alloy are excellent materials for preparing exhaust valves, and TC4 alloy is the most suitable.
